What Is Henna?

Henna is a age old tradition throughout India and the Middle East.  It is an organic plant that is ground up and sifted into a smooth powder. It  has deep staining qualities for all types of skin. It is a  tempory stain that only penetrates the upper epidermus of  the applied area. After approximatley a week or so , the stain fades away, leaving  the area as it was before.

Henna is NEVER black.

It is organic and will only stain to a reddish brown.

Henna starts out as a powder as shown to the left. Then it is mixed with lemon juice, sugar and sometimes an essential oil to add a pleasant and relaxing scent.
